The 80% rule is the most common benchmark used by accreditation bodies because it confirms meaningful participation while allowing for minor connection drops or a few minutes of lateness.
The rule is simple: if a 60-minute webinar has an 80% requirement, an attendee must accumulate at least 48 minutes of session time to qualify. This tool applies that calculation across your entire attendee list at once — and because it sums every join/leave session per person, someone who dropped and rejoined still gets full credit for their combined time.
